The paintings of Bracha Bien-Venida Guy speak the language of luxury, the sensuousness of rich colors, the shine of true gold leaf, the gleam of pearls. She doesn’t not have to search far for her images, she finds them around the house, on objects bequeathed her by past generations of women – laces and flowered porcelain, filigree candlesticks, crystal and pearls, along with a certain ideal of womanhood – which is not necessarily ideal for survival.

Bracha Bien-Venida Guy is an accomplished artist in Israel. Her work has been shown worldwide in galleries, museums, and art fairs in Israel, United States and Europe.
